My Family

My husband, Chester, and I got married on February 14, 1963 and have been happily married for 43 years. We have three wonderful daughters who are all college graduates. Brigitte, the oldest, graduated from Pepperdine University with a BA degree in business. Michelle, my second daughter, got her degree in art, and Danielle, my youngest, has a business degree from the University of Wisconsin. She went to school in Wisconsin because she won a scholarship for her racewalking. She is an extremely fast racewalker, and lived and trained at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California for two years. She is now in the U.S. Air Force and will be going to Iraq in January 2007. Danielle is also currently taking classes at Boston University and working on her degree in Criminal Law.

Chester graduated from USC with a masters degree in business. I got my AA at Pierce College and am currently taking classes to help with my current job. All my children enjoy horses. When Brigitte was 13, we bought our first horse, and by the time they were all riding, we owned 5 horses. When they got older, they got interested in other activities, so I donated the horses to a horse adoption agency so other children could enjoy them without investing a lot of money in buying them. Now, the girls are interested in horses again, but the horses are now located in Montana with Brigitte and her lovely family.

My children were all born in Santa Monica, and have lived in the San Fernando Valley until just recently when they got involved in other activities that have taken them away from California. Brigitte moved to Montana to raise her three daughters and Danielle is constantly being redeployed and is not quite sure where she will end up next. Hopefully, she will be able to spend some time at home after she finishes her tour in Iraq.

Please look at the photos and read the bios on my family. I hope you enjoy learning a little about me and my family.
