Welcome to My Family Album

Come on in and visit with me as I show you photos of my family, past and present. First off, I will start by introducing you to my parents (see photo). Their names are Evelyn (age 26) and Jack (age 32). They were married in North Dakota in the late 30's. My father was a salesman, so they traveled quite a bit. Each of my three sisters and three brothers were born in a different city and some even in different states.

When my parents finally relocated in California in the 40's, my mother refused to leave as she loved the weather in California so much that she never wanted to go back to the freezing temperatures she had to endure as a child. She got a job working at Douglas Aircraft, which at that time paid $.87 an hour. But she raised all of us children by herself, as my father spent the rest of his years as a traveling salesman.

My father died of stomach cancer in 1969, at the age of 70 and my mom continued to raise the children all by herself. She passed away in March 2002, at the age of 87.

On the next few pages I will show you pictures of my brothers and sisters as well as pictures of my immediate family, which includes my wonderful husband, three daughters, and three granddaughters.
