Sonja is my oldest sister and the oldest child in our family. She has one daughter, Sonja Diane, and one granddaughter, Natasha. Sonja was born in Helena, Montana and moved to California at the age of 6. She lived in California for 20 years before getting married and moving to Missouri where she lived for another 20 years. She has now moved to Florida to be near her daughter and granddaughter.

Max is my older brother. Max was born in Portland, Oregon and moved to California at the age of 5. He has lived in Southern California for his whole life. Max was in the Navy in the late 50's and was stationed on the U.S.S. Ranger, which at the time was the largest aircraft carrier. After the military, he met Jean and they got married and had a daughter, Tamara. He is looking forward to retirement so he can spend some time enjoying his family.

Carole is my second oldest sister. She was born in Sacramento, California and traveled with our parents until the age of 5, when the whole family settled in a little cottage home in Santa Monica. Carole was a fashion model when she was younger and then became co-owner of a large import-export business. She has since moved to South Carolina with my younger sister, Mona, to be closer to Mona's family. Carole never had a family of her own.

Mona is my younger sister. She was born in Oxnard, California and has lived in Southern California for most of her life. Two years ago, she got diagnosed with ovarian cancer and moved to South Carolina to be closer to her youngest son and three grandsons. She also has another son, Richard, who has two daughters and owns his auto repair shop in Venice, California.

Jack is my younger brother. He has two daughters, who are both single at this time. He was born in Seattle, Washington, and moved to California when he was just an infant. He has lived in Southern California his entire life. Jack is a general contractor, and a good one at that. He worked in South America for about six years, but moved back to California when his daughters were babies. He is looking forward to spending some time with them before they get married and have families of their own.

Eddie is the youngest male in the family. He is a mechanic and has his own shop in Canoga Park. He was born in Reading, California and has lived in Southern California since he was an infant. He is married to Margaret and they do not have any children. He is so busy with his business that I never see him. The last time I saw him was in 2002.
